Biography
As a soloist, Lucy has performed in the Royal Northern Spotlight Series for talented young musicians and gave a performance of the concerto by Saint-Saens, "Morceau de Concert" with the Maltings Sinfonia.
Lucy regularly gives recitals around the UK, recent performances include the Benslow Music Trust, Bushey Music and Arts Festival, the Women's Institute and for the Camphill Trust at Delrow House. Her recitals include a wide variety of music and interesting facts about the harp and Lucy often plays for the Masonic Trust, Ladies Groups and Homes for the elderly.
In 2006, Lucy performed on an award winning recording with the renowned Euphonium player Steven Mead. At the Eastman School of Music, Lucy was invited to perform with various faculty members as part of the "Virtuosi Recitals." Lucy is also a keen player of contemporary works and was a member of the RNCM New Ensemble and Eastman School of Music's Ossia.

As an orchestral harpist, she has performed with numerous orchestras in the UK and in the US. Recently Lucy was on tour with the American Wind Symphony Orchestra, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Here she was a soloist and performed the recently commissioned concerto for harp and wind orchestra by H. Badings.In 2002 she performed with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in Manchester as part of the "Young Artist's Access Scheme." Also in Manchester, she performed with the Manchester Concert Orchestra, the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band and the Royal Northern College of Music Symphony Orchestra. In the summer of 2007, Lucy was presented with a scholarship to attend the Brevard Music Centre in North Carolina where she performed with the Brevard Music Centre Faculty Orchestra.
More recently Lucy has performed as an orchestral musician with St John's Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
In September 2007, she won an audition which resulted in performing and recording with the world-famous Canadian Brass in a collaborative project with the Eastman Wind Ensemble.Lucy then went to perform in the Spazio Music Festival in Cagliari, Sardinia as a part of the Eastman Broadband Ensemble in performances of a new opera.
