Biography
Jennifer is a harpist based in Scotland and she is available for weddings, functions and concerts.
The Scottish harp, or clarsach as it is known, has 34 strings and is ideal for providing atmospheric music during any occasion or event. It is believed that the clarsach was first played in Scotland around the time of the Crusades making it Scotland's oldest national instrument.
Her performances include playing at the weddings of Madonna & Guy Ritchie, and Travis guitarist Andy Dunlop to Jo Monaghan. She also regularly plays for leading Parliamentary figures and has played for the Princess Royal, the Duke of York and Prince Edward on separate occasions. Other celebrities include: Donald Trump, Gywneth Paltrow, Sting, Donatella Versace, Stella McCartney, Trudie Styler, Dame Maggie Smith, Rupert Everett and Fran Healy. She was also an ambassador for VisitScotland promoting their 'Romantic Scotland' campaign.
She have several years experience playing for weddings. The Clarsach is portable and not too large so is ideal for any wedding venue.
She can play at the ceremony during the guests' arrival, the Bride's entrance, the signing of the register, the Bride and Groom's exit and your guests' departure
