Biography
Ruth studied the harp at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and graduated with distinction. Since then she has been very much in demand as a professional harpist in all areas of music and her work has taken her all over the world.
Ruth is currently the harpist at the London production of “Phantom of the Opera” but regularly takes time out to perform with other companies such as “The Royal Shakespeare Company” and at “The National Theatre”. She particularly enjoyed appearing on “Top of the Pops” and playing on “Classic FM” and “Womans Hour”.
Her love of light music has brought her to perform at weddings, civil partnerships and functions all over the country and at all major London hotels and splendid country residences such as Highclere Castle, Blenheim Palace and Cliveden. She appears regularly closer to her home of Hertfordshire at Hatfield House, Bush Hall, Tewinbury Farm, Fanhams Hall and Ponsbourne Park to name but a few.

It can be Robbie Williams, Shania Twain or Michael Buble or more traditionally Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole or Ella Fitzgerald.
