Biography
Helen is a free lance harpist and harp teacher with a thriving teaching practice of over 30 students stretching from Cirencester in the West to Lincoln in the East, with a pass rate of 100% with ABRSM. Helen studies with world famous virtuoso harpist David Watkins and David is happy to endorse Helen-Elizabeth's teaching practice.
Helen runs a Harp Ensemble of 8 harpists called HARPZ The Derbyshire Harp Ensemble and Junior Harpz. She also performs as a duo with Harpist Elin Lloyd .Helen gained experience of the harp making business during the eight years she worked for Clive Morley Harps as a Sales Manager prior to going freelance in November 2008.
Repertoire is mixed ranging from classical, to modern popular and folk music. If a client has a specific piece in mind then I am very happy to add it to my existing repertoire.
