This Harpist is available solo or with a flautist and works across Northern Ireland.
Christine's music can add a beautiful atmosphere to any special occasion including weddings, civil ceremonies, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate functions and any event requiring that special musical touch. She provides a unique musical service in Northern Ireland. She can provide magical background music to enhance your special occasion as a single harp or a harp and flute.
An experienced musician who has played many prestigious events throughout Northern Ireland, she adds beautiful and relaxing music, whilst your guests may still carry on normal conversations.
Christine is a retired music teacher, and has always been involved in the musical world. She first appeared on stage in the Belfast Hippodrome at the early age of 3 where she enthralled the audience with her singing and dancing.
As she grew up in Bangor, Northern Ireland, she learned to play several instruments, beginning with the piano. Her uncle was a celebrated musician with his harmonica and she could have been heard playing the bass harmonica along with him.
She continued with her studies of the piano before learning to play the guitar. For some time she sang with folk groups around the country, whilst working with a local recording company, Emerald Records.
The harp is now her best loved instrument and nothing pleases Christine more, than to play her music. She plays in her church orchestra from time to time, although most of her playing is at civil or church weddings throughout Northern Ireland.
She has played at prestigious events supporting world famous artists, such as The Four Tops, The Irish Tenors and local tenor, Peter Corry.
She has entertained American VIP's at the Bangor Castle and at Stormont Buildings, to name just a small fraction of her performances.
She has also been requested to play in Edinburgh and in South of Spain, which she intends to do this year.
